Quality Assurance

Our Quality Assurance (QA) program is audited regularly and is in compliance with the following standards:

• CSA Z299.3
• MIL-I-45208A
• AQAP-4
• ASME Sec VIII, Division 1 & 2
• ISO 9002

In response to customers’ requirements, L&A implemented its first formal QA program some twenty years ago in compliance with CSA Z299.3. Over the years, L&A has continually updated its manual to meet the requirements of varied industries.

Our QA program has been audited by several organizations and in all cases we have met or exceeded their requirements. Some of these organizations are as follows:

• Environmental Elements, MD: AQAP-4
• New Brunswick Power Corp.: CSA Z299.3
• New Brunswick Dept. of Labour: ASME, Sec. VIII

L&A’s commitment to quality goes beyond our certifications and programs; it is engrained in the way we think and work. More than half of our employees have been with our team for over 20 years, and some over 30 years. This low turnover in staff means that an attitude toward quality is well established and quickly adopted by new members of our team. All of this translates into a shorter learning curve, better understanding of complex projects and a higher standard of quality for our customers.
